Welcome to Mars by Ken Hollings

“Ken Hollings shows brilliantly how the extraordinary web of technologies that drove the Cold War have shaped not just our culture but the very way we think of ourselves as human beings. Welcome to Mars offers a rare and fascinating glimpse of the roots of the strange humanoid culture we live in today.” Adam Curtis

New cause for celebration is the release of Further 004 – Amid Devonia’s Alps by Urthona – almost 60 minutes of soaring, unrelenting guitar worship and field recordings from deepest Dartmoor.

'There’s a holy beauty within the fiery soul of this Urthona music that transcends its many contemporaries, as colossal guitars intertwine around the base of listeners’ minds, lifting them skywards as though upon a magical beanstalk ride... Urthona’s music is both the Ult in meditation AND a freight-train ride to oblivion.'
Julian Cope, Head Heritage

“Cloaked in robes, floating in white clouds off the coast of California, High Mountain Tempel collide across oceans with eight beautiful cuts called The Glass Bead Game. This abstract homage merges cells of Father Yod, far fair Abion, as well meetings in shrouded rooms, hills and gardens of Mt. Washington, Ocean Beach San Diego, Vista East, and Topanga Canyon."

Beaming in from Southern California comes The Glass Bead Game a new album of high sonic wyrdness from the monks at High Mountain Tempel. For this third release, full-time monks Ras Al H’nout and Eric Nielsen are joined via sentient satellite transmission on two long tracks by The Asterism. The album comes in a beautiful, numbered edition of 250.
